The world is still reeling from the horrific attacks carried out by Hamas terrorists against Israel. Representative Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) spoke with Bret Baier on Fox News's Special Report on his reaction to the violence, which he called "barbaric" and criticized the Biden Administration's previous payment of $6 billion to release several Americans the Iranians were holding captive while adding that the most vocally pro-Palestine Democrats are "in the vast minority."

Rep. Moskowitz called the attack "Israel's 9/11," echoing Representative Mike Waltz (R-FL), adding that "It is the largest number of Jews murdered since the Holocaust."

"To see babies killed, children kidnapped, women raped next to their dead spouse, it is just horrific. To see a Holocaust survivor taken as a hostage. The folks in my community are outraged. Jews are never going back to those days, and this is barbaric behavior like we have not seen in Israel for a long time, if not ever," said Rep. Moskowitz. Additionally, he stated that the Israelis would deploy "a significant response" and that the United States will work with them to free hostages taken by Hamas.

Baier pointed out Moskowitz's previous criticism of the $6 billion in Iranian assets the Biden Administration unfroze for the release of hostages in August, which some believe went towards Iran's assistance in planning Hamas's attack.

Moskowitz replied that he had previously worked with Republicans on the SHIP Act to prevent Iranian oil from evading sanctions and denying them entry to the United Nations, saying while he was happy to see the American hostages return home, "I was against the additional money going to Iran."

"There should not be any payments to Iran. That is my position, and I think that money going to Iran was inappropriate," Moskowitz continued.

Finally, Baier asked Moskowitz about a July resolution passed in the House reaffirming support for Israel that was voted against by Representatives Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (R-MI), and others.

"They are in the minority," said Moskowitz, "They are in the vast minority on this issue."

"Vast amounts of Democrats around the country support Israel and the overwhelming amount of Democrats in Congress support Israel. There are 212 of us that are supportive of Israel and voted for that resolution. So if there are seven or eight of us that disagree, they are wrong, but they are entitled to their opinion," Moskowitz concluded.
