Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) continues to unload on Ambassador Nikki Haley (R). During a joint interview with the Des Moines Register and NBC News, Governor DeSantis discounted Ambassador Haley’s presidential candidacy because she’s “phony.”

With the Iowa caucus looming nearer and nearer, the presidential candidates are making their final pitches to Iowans. President Donald Trump (R) is leading the pack of candidates by a wide margin, and this has pitted Governor DeSantis and Ambassador Haley for the second spot.

During the joint interview, Governor DeSantis commented on Ambassador Haley’s campaign, and when he was asked if it would be beneficial for him and Ambassador Haley to team up in a ticket to defeat President Trump, Governor DeSantis immediately turned the idea down.

“I don’t think that that would be something that would be viable,” he said.

Calling her “phony” and someone who “doesn’t have a core set of convictions,” Governor DeSantis further assessed that Ambassador Haley is “trying to be relatable.”

Echoing his remarks earlier this week that she was not ready for “prime time,” Governor DeSantis expressed that “she’s not good offscript,” citing what happened “in New Hampshire a week ago.”  The incident he was referring to saw Ambassador Haley being asked to explain the reason behind the Civil War and not mentioning slavery. This quickly received blowback, and she rescinded her comments.

Ambassador Haley now finds herself in more controversy after saying in New Hampshire that “Iowa starts it, but New Hampshire corrects it.”

During an interview with Dana Loesch, Governor DeSantis slammed Ambassador Haley’s comments, saying that “it was very disrespectful to Iowa voters.” He went on to explain that she made the comment because she doesn’t have much support in the state.

Sharing a segment of the interview on social media, the Florida Governor expressed that Ambassador Haley “thinks she is above hardworking Iowans.”

Miami- The Miami-Dade Republican Executive Committee, which is lead by Rep. Alex Rizzo, a staunch supporter of Gov. Ron DeSantis,  held a 2024 presidential preference straw poll during the group’s planned monthly meeting, and members of the committee resoundingly voted in favor of former President Donald Trump over Governor Ron DeSantis.

The vote tally was small, but telling.

Of the 65 votes submitted, President Trump received 53, DeSantis 5 votes, Nikki Haley 3 votes, and Vivek Ramaswamy 1.

Gov. DeSantis has used his 2022 midterm reelection results on the presidential campaign trail, pitching his 11-point victory in Miami-Dade as an indicator of the support he enjoys from Republicans in the state’s most populous county.

Republicans like the idea of DeSantis being president one day, but they love the possibility that President Trump could be reelected to a second term

"Florida is Trump country! #MAGA," stated Laura Loomer, a conservative journalist and supporter of Trump.

In a new poll conducted by USA Today and Suffolk University, President Joe Biden is now trailing former President Trump amongst Hispanic and young voters.

According to the poll, Biden’s support amongst Hispanic voters is 34 percent, while Trump is polling at 39 percent. This number is a new low for President Biden who – just four years ago – crushed Trump with the Hispanic vote, winning 65 percent of the group's support.

Hispanic voters aren't the only ones shying away from the current president. Young voters, too, are also separating themselves from the Biden's reelection efforts. While President Biden trounced President Trump with support amongst young voters in the 2020 election, winning over the group by 24 points, the new poll shows that Trump is now in the lead. The poll found that Trump leads Biden among voters under 35 years of age. Trump received 37 percent support, while Biden only received 33 percent.

Biden also saw his lead dwindle when it came to his support amongst black voters. While Biden received 87 percent of the black vote in the 2020 election, according to the poll, he is now sitting at 63 percent.

The good news for President Biden is that many of these voters polled haven’t necessarily switched sides to support Trump. Instead, many of these voters have opted to support third-party candidates. The poll found that one in every five Hispanic and black voters will be supporting a third-party candidate come next November (given it’s a Trump/Biden rematch).

As for the 2024 presidential election, polling still shows a hotly contested race. According to Real Clear Politics, Trump currently has an average lead of 1 percentage point over Biden. With this being said, some polls, such as a recent one conducted by Rasmussen Reports, have Trump up 8 percentage points. On the other hand, a poll recently conducted by Susquehanna, has Biden leading the former president by as much as 7 percentage points.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) and Ambassador Nikki Haley (R) will square off in the final Republican primary debate ahead of the Iowa caucus. Before taking the debate stage later this month, Governor DeSantis took part in a town hall, directing political jabs at his opponents while affirming that he will "turn the country around" as president.

President Donald Trump (R) will not be joining Governor DeSantis and Ambassador Haley on the debate stage as he has scheduled a town hall hosted by Fox News at the same time as the debate. However, this isn’t deterring Governor DeSantis from making it clear that President Trump isn't fit to be in the White House again.

“Donald Trump is running on his issues. Nikki Haley is running on her donors’ issues. I’m running to address your issues, your family’s issues, and to turn the country around,” He responded, adding that he sees himself as a “vessel for your hopes, dreams, and aspirations."

For him to do that, Governor DeSantis says that he needs “a congress that’s gonna work with me,” adding that he will do everything in his power to make sure that Republicans get elected. Moreover, the Florida Governor says that “this is a time for putting your money where you mouth is” when it comes to Republicans in office. He lamented that Republicans “haven’t really delivered” when it comes to being fiscally responsible, and he believes that he is the most qualified person that can deliver on that promise.

Governor DeSantis also highlighted other concerns that his presidency would address, which includes “structural reform in Washington, D.C.,” “term limits for members of Congress,” “a Balanced Budget Amendment,” and giving “the president line-item veto.”

In recent weeks, Ambassador Haley’s support has grown in the United States, but President Trump remains the clear front runner as well as polling higher than President Joe Biden (D).

With the 2024 Iowa Caucuses less than two weeks away, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has kicked his presidential campaign into high gear, traversing the Hawkeye State trying to cram in as many meet and greet events in hopes of upsetting former President Donald Trump, or at the very least, come in a respectable second place. During a town hall interview with Gray TV in Des Moines, Iowa, Gov. DeSantis continued to try to contrast himself with President Trump on issues, particularly with the ongoing illegal immigration crisis along the southern border with Mexico.

As more than 300,000 illegal immigrants came across last month alone, DeSantis reaffirmed his position that he would “declare” the border crisis a “national emergency on day one.”

DeSantis is vowing to deport all those who have crossed over illegally.

I'm going to have the military on the border to stop the invasion cold. But one of the things we have to do is, people come illegally, we've had millions under Biden, I'm going to deport them back to their home country,” said DeSantis.  You have got to do that.”

In contrasting himself to Trump on border security, DeSantis said that under his administration, Mexico would pay for the border security wall by charging Mexican workers employed in the US “fees” on the remittances they send back home.

Border Crisis
Border Crisis

In addition, DeSantis swiped at Trump for not delivering on his promise to deport more illegal aliens than any of his predecessors.

“Donald Trump promised the largest deportations in history. He deported less, believe it or not, than Barack Obama even did. So I'm going to do that. Number two, we are going to build the wall and have Mexico pay for it. How do you do that? Mexico is not just going to give us money. You charge fees on the remittances that workers send overseas. That'll raise billions. We'll build the wall,” added DeSantis. “But most importantly, we're going to hold the Mexican drug cartels accountable. I'm going to categorize them as foreign terrorist organizations. That's going to give us an ability to use deadly military force against them.”

Trump did deport fewer illegal aliens than Obama, but that was because there were significantly fewer attempts by migrants to cross into the U.S. illegally during his first term as president.

Under Trump, both legal and illegal immigration drastically slowed down.

DeSantis first stated that he would use military force against Mexican drug cartels when The Floridian pressed him on the issue at an official executive office event in Miami prior to his run for president.

President Donald Trump (R) is looking to aggressively compete in Democrat strongholds like New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Minnesota, and New Mexico. President Trump is leading his Republican challengers by a wide margin, and with two weeks to go until the Iowa caucus, he is confident that he will emerge as the 2024 Republican nominee when the smoke clears.

With efforts to remove him from ballots, President Trump does not appear to show signs of worry. In fact, he is doubling down by affirming that his campaign will launch more aggressive efforts of campaigning in stats that Republicans have not historically won in.  President Trump noted that he wants to do rallies in said states, and he event floated the idea of renting out Madison Square Garden to host a rally for supporters.

President Trump commented this week that “one of the other things I’m going to do – and I may be foolish in doing it – is I’m going to make a heavy play for New York, heavy play for New Jersey, heavy play for Virginia, heavy play for New Mexico, and a heavy play for a state that hasn’t been won in years, Minnesota.”

“I’m going to do rallies, I’m going to do speeches, I’m going to work them. That doesn’t mean I’m going to work them as hard as I work Pennsylvania, where I’m doing very well,” President Trump continued.

Calling President Joe Biden (D) “Mr. Scranton,” President Trump said he feels confident that President Biden won’t beat him in this Keystone State in 2024.

National Polls show that President Trump has overtaken President Biden, and the lead appears to be growing. However, President Trump is facing the threat of being removed from ballots across the country. Maine has already decided to remove him, and though calls were growing in California for him to be removed, the decision has been made to keep him.

US Representative Cory Mills (R-Fl) expressed his commitment to either "shutdown the border or shutdown the government."

Representative Mills' comments are representative of many Republican lawmakers' willingness to compel Democrats to compromise on immigration reform and tighter border enforcement.

Mills outlined his legislative priority via X as passing "the 12 single-point Appropriation Bills with necessary cuts, reforms, economic growth strategy, and either shut the border or Shutdown the government.”

Last November, conservative lawmakers leveraged government funding to encourage Democrats and President Joe Biden to acquiesce to Republican requests for decreased spending and immigration enforcement.

A government shutdown was averted due to ex-House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy's passage of a temporary spending bill.

With such bill's expiration date nearing, Republicans are once again signaling their commitment to immigration enforcement and fiscal policy includes entering a government shutdown if necessary.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken recently visited Mexico to discuss joint immigration enforcement measures with Mexican officials. A joint US-Mexico press release described the trip reinforced both countries' mission to "address the root causes of migration, such as poverty, inequality, and violence."

However, many Republicans have accused Biden of generating the migrant crisis at the Southwest border via loose immigration laws and the deliberate lack of enforcement of existing immigration laws.

US Representative Anna Paulina-Luna (R-Fl) recently criticized Biden's immigration policies while warning of a new migrant caravan traveling towards the US through central America.

Representative Luna claimed border enforcement legislation is urgently needed to adequately regulate immigration flows across America's borders.

"To hear that this is somehow a humanitarian thing, and we need to just blanket wave these people in. One, it is stupid, but also it is a political talking point. And let me be clear about something. We absolutely have the ability to stop this, and we should " explained Luna.

President Donald Trump (R) continues to compare his record to President Joe Biden’s (D) efforts in office. Not only does President Trump argue that his own time in office was more effective, but he also believes that President Biden has wasted too much time vacationing.

According to the New York Post, President Biden has spent 37% of 2023 at a getaway spot. This, the New York Post, equates to more than a third of the year being spent away from his duties as president. During this time, President Biden was either at one of his Delaware residences, a vacation site, or at Camp David.

In an interview with Breitbart News, President Trump commented on the time that President Biden has spent on vacation, saying that the president has spent too much time on vacation while refusing to work for the American people.

One issue that President Trump has been vocal about is illegal immigration. In his comments, President Trump argued that President Biden should have gone to the beach and let his policies stand instead of removing them upon entering office.

When asked to comment about President Biden making his way to the U.S. Virgin Islands, President Trump compared their time spent on vacation. In providing the comparison, President Trump argued that when he himself went on vacation, he was still working.

“I have to say, when I take vacations I’m always working,” he said.

“This is really the Southern White House. I have meetings left, right, and all day. Even if I’m playing golf, I’m always playing golf with somebody who is it important like heads of countries, senators, et cetera. But it’s all work,” President Trump continued.

“The Southern White House” that President Trump referred to is Mar-a-Lago.

In recent weeks, national polling shows that President Trump has overtaken President Biden in numerous categories including younger voters. However, President Trump is also facing political troubles as Maine has announced that President Trump will be removed from the state’s ballot.

Maine has become the second state to remove former President Donald Trump from its primary ballot, sparking outrage among the right. Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) appeared on Fox News's Ingraham Angle to discuss, saying the decision "opens up Pandora's Box" and suggested such moves are a means to distract voters from Biden's polling numbers and policies.

"The idea that one bureaucrat in an executive position can simply unilaterally disqualify someone from office. That turns on its head every notion of constitutional due process that this country has always abided by for over 200 years. It opens up Pandora's Box," said Gov. DeSantis, adding that a Republican Secretary of State can remove President Biden from their state's ballot by the same logic for his handling of the border crisis, which could be interpreted as knowingly aiding and abetting our enemies.

While Maine's decision is not likely to stand by the U.S. Supreme Court, Gov. DeSantis suggested similar events about Trump's legal cases will occur throughout the coming election year because Democrats "do not want to face accountability for their failed policies," similar to comments made by Representative Cory Mills (R-FL), who has said actions have intentionally been taken against Trump shortly after damning information about Joe and Hunter Biden has been revealed.

Substitute host Jason Chaffetz asked what the Republican Party and other primary candidates should do next.

DeSantis answered that if he wins the Republican nomination, he "will be able to keep the focus on the Democratic failures, but then more importantly, after you win the election, start holding these people accountable who have weaponized the legal system to go after their political enemies. And that starts on day one, firing somebody like Jack Smith that goes to dealing with people who are violating constitutional rights at the state and local government area. Republicans have turned a blind eye to abuses of power for too long," DeSantis concluded.

Trump continues to dominate in the polls, and this latest removal will likely make the point spread even wider.

Foreign policy has quickly become an important staple of the 2024 election, and it’s significantly affecting the Biden administration. During an interview on Fox News, Florida Rep. Cory Mills (R)  discussed President Joe Biden’s (R) foreign policy, pointing out that the United States finds itself in grave danger.

According to a new New York Times/Siena College poll, 72% of registered voters ages 18-29 disapprove of the way President Biden has handled the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Rep. Mills, in his assessment of President Biden’s foreign policy, argued that the conflict is one of several threats that the U.S. currently faces, adding that the United States should quickly return to the foreign policy that President Donald Trump (R) oversaw.

Sharing a segment of his interview on social media, Rep. Mills captioned the video with additional information, writing that “Obama/Biden’s own Secretary of Defense stated that Joe Biden has been wrong on EVERY foreign policy issue.” He likened President Biden’s approach to President Barack Obama’s (D) approach, noting “that this current admin consistently leads from behind.”

“The acts of aggression we’re seeing with Hamas in Israel, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Houthis in the Red Sea, and Kata’ib Hezbollah in Iraq, is ultimately war by Iran, and the U.S. is the big fish,” Rep. Mills explained, adding that the Biden administration “has emboldened our adversaries through weakness, and America’s position on the work stage is taking a hit. We’ve got to bring back Trump foreign policies and a peace through strength mindset.”

President Trump now leads President Biden in national polls, and President Biden is also the clear frontrunner in the Republican primary.

Rep. Mills specifically pointed out China as a grave threat, detailing that “China is using Iran as a proxy. They are utilizing Russia and Ukraine as a proxy,” noting that China is “trying to drain us down economically.”

Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows has removed former President Donald Trump (R) from the state’s primary ballot, citing the U.S. Constitution’s 14th Amendment “insurrection” provision.

Bellows served as a Democratic state senator before being selected by the state legislature to serve as the Secretary of State. In 2014 she ran for the U.S. Senate but lost to incumbent and current Senator Susan Collins (R-ME), according to Ballotpedia.

The Trump campaign released a statement regarding the decision.

According to The Hill, Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung mentioned that this move is “a disenfranchisement” of the American people.

“We are witnessing, in real-time, the attempted theft of an election and the disenfranchisement of the American voter,” spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement. “Make no mistake, these partisan election interference efforts are a hostile assault on American democracy.”

Florida Governor and presidential candidate Ron DeSantis (R-FL) provided his thoughts during an appearance on Fox News. He questioned the idea of “one bureaucrat” deciding who can and cannot appear on a ballot.

"It opens up Pandora's Box. Can you have a Republican Secretary of State disqualify Biden from the ballot? Because he's let in 8 million people illegally, a massive invasion," said Gov. DeSantis. He also stated, "We win when we hold Biden accountable and talk about the issues that matter to the American people."

Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis commented on the Trump ruling in Maine and even called for an investigation by the Department of Justice.

“I am immediately calling for an investigation by the Department of Justice into Civil Rights violations. We all know that if a Red State did this to Biden they’d dispatch the FBI all over the place…” said CFO Patronis.

On Dec. 19, Colorado took the same action against the 45th President when the state’s supreme court voted 4-3 to deny Trump from the state primary.

According to Ballotpediathe Colorado Supreme Court is the 16th most liberal court in the United States. It does not have a single right-leaning justice. All justices are either considered an “Intermediate,” a “Mild Democrat,” or a “Strong Democrat.”

This is a developing story.

US Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Senator Rick Scott (R-Fl) have both suffered ‘swatting’ attempts at their homes.

Swatting’ is the term given to calls made by third parties to emergency services falsely alleging a need for officers to be dispatched to the home of the targeted individual.

Swatting can result in tense and confusing situations, potentially leading to collateral damage, for both emergency personnel and targeted individuals.

Senator Scott reported the incident early this morning via X.  The Floridian was one of the first media outlets to report on the assault on Scott.

“Last night, while at dinner with my wife, cowards “swatted” my home in Naples,” stated Scott.

Scott thanked local police authorities for adequately responding to what he defined as a “sick attempt to terrorize (his) family.”

Representative Greene was reportedly targeted by a swatting call earlier this week on Tuesday, December 26th.

Yesterday, after more swatting attempts were made against Greene’s family, Greene claimed she would be filing legislation to expand law enforcement’s tools for combatting swatting calls.

“The dangerous swatting harassment continues, as tonight, one of my family members was swatted at their house,” said Greene.

Greene promised to soon introduce “legislation to make it much easier for law enforcement to arrest and prosecutors to prosecute these criminals.”

Greene and Scott are the latest in a chain of US politicians that have been threatened over the Christmas holidays.

Threats against justices on Colorado’s Supreme Court after former President Donald Trump was barred from the GOP Primary are reportedly also being investigated.

Trump was barred from the Colorado GOP primary after the Colorado Supreme Court found that the capitol riots on January 6th “easily satisfy (the) definition of “insurrection.”

President Donald Trump (R) has responded to Michigan’s Supreme Court ruling to allow him on the ballot. The decision comes after Colorado’s Supreme Court ruled to bar President Trump from the ballot, which drew significant criticism from both sides of the aisle.

Michigan’s Supreme Court announced this week that it would be upholding a Michigan Court of Appeals ruling that rejected an appeal filed by the watchdog group Free Speech For People on behalf of a group of Michigan voters.

In a message to supporters, President Trump commented on the ruling, calling it a “victory on the ballot.”

“After Soros-funded Democrats got my name REMOVED from the ballot in Colorado, they immediately intensified their efforts to try and disqualify me across the country,” the message reads. President Trump explained that “the Michigan Supreme Court just dealt a massive blow to these Soros-funded Dark Money Democrats who are hellbent on rigging the 2024 election.”

The presidential hopeful called it a “powerful reminder” of the battle against “the radical Left,” but President Trump also assured that the fight is not over.

“Soros and his globalist donors will spend whatever it takes to cheat the system and BUY the White House for Crooked Joe in 2024,” President Trump said, warning that stronger efforts against his campaign will come.

California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) weighed in on the issue, warning California’s Supreme Court to not follow in the footsteps of Colorado’s Supreme Court.

Instead, Governor Newsom commented that “in California, we defeat candidates at the polls.” California’s Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis (D) has endorsed the removal of President Trump from the ballot, but it appears that California will not be moving forward with the measure.

Legislation is currently being drafted to prevent President Joe Biden (D) from appearing on the ballots in Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has bet his massive grassroots 2024 presidential campaign on winning Iowa, banking on the tens of millions of dollars he transferred over from his 2022 gubernatorial reelection campaign to his Never Back Down PAC, in hopes of mounting a winning door-knocking campaign.

At first, the money spoke volumes and momentum seemed insurmountable with NBD steamrolling across Iowa’s plains and touching just about every registered Republican voter.

According to the PAC, which is under scrutiny along with the DeSantis campaign for potentially colluding with one another, it has hit 812,00o doors in Iowa, 968,000 homes in South Carolina, and 385,000 doors in New Hampshire.

These are big grassroots numbers, but the ground game DeSantis and his supporters have put together has failed to move the needle in any of the public opinion polls conducted within the early voting states.

Now, with less than a month before Iowans caucus to choose the next Republican presidential nominee, DeSantis’s unmatched ground game facing more political challenges.

Not only does DeSantis have to deal with the existing and unwavering support for former President Trump, but he is now being challenged by Ambassador Nikki Haley.

Gov.Ron DeSantis

Back in October, after DeSantis rebooted his campaign (again), a large group of present and former staffers of DeSantis’s administration converged on Ankeny, Iowa to lend a helping hand to the fledgling presidential campaign.

Several members who traveled to Iowa told The Floridian that they traveled on their dime, but that knocking on doors for DeSantis seemed futile because of the overwhelming support for former President Trump they were receiving.

DeSantis Rising in Iowa

“We are in big trouble,” said one source who spoke to us on the condition of anonymity.

The concerns from one of DeSantis’s core supporters who spent a whole weekend interacting with voters, echoed the poll results of the Iowa St. Civiqs poll taken that very weekend in Iowa.

DeSantis was only garnering 16 percent of Iowa Republicans surveyed, while President Trump held a commanding 55 percent support.

An NBC News. Des Moines Register poll, which historically has been seen as the gold standard for gauging how Iowans could potentially vote, showed DeSantis with only 16 percent support and Trump with 43 percent support.

Trump lost support because Ambassador Nikki Haley has begun to surge. In those two polls, Haley garnered 11 and 16 percent support, respectively.

“People underestimated the core support [for Trump],” said a Republican field operative who worked on the pro-DeSantis effort in an early state, noting that “everyone pinned their hopes” on the door-knocking effort being able to move the polls. “And it could not be overcome.”

Since those two Iowa-centric polls were conducted in October, Trump has soared, opening up his overall average of support over DeSantis from 16 percentage points to 34 percentage points.

Considering how fluid American politics can be, there is still a good chance DeSantis finishes a respectable 2nd place if the ground game can overcome the Haley surge.

Both DeSantis and Haley have resumed their campaigning in Iowa this week.

Colorado is quickly finding itself in isolation as other states are rejecting a 14th amendment challenge to President Donald Trump (R). Michigan is the latest state to reject booting President Trump from the 2024 ballot. This comes after California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) commented that President Trump should be defeated in the polls.

In response to the Colorado Supreme Court ruling to remove President Trump from the ballot, Governor Newsom released a statement, saying that “there is no doubt that Donald Trump is a threat to our liberties and even to our democracy. But in California, we defeat candidates at the polls. Everything else is a political distraction.”

California’s Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis (D) supports removing President Trump from the ballot.

This week, Michigan’s Supreme Court rejected an appeal that would bar President Trump from the 2024 ballot based on section 3 of the 14th amendment.

The decision upholds a Michigan’s Court of Appeals ruling earlier this month that also rejected an appeal filed by the watchdog group Free Speech For People on behalf of a group of Michigan voters.

The Republican response to Colorado's decision has been swift as Republican lawmakers have joined forces to draft a bill that would remove President Biden from the ballots in Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Georgia.

Pennsylvania Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R), Arizona Rep. Cory Mcgarr (R), and Georgia Rep. Charlice Byrd (R) are drafting the bill, and in a statement, they explained why they are pursuing the removal.

The lawmakers shared that “the absurdity of radical Democrat judges removing Donald Trump from the ballot in Colorado will be a stain on the American political system for decades. By their very own interpretation of the law, Joe Biden is 100% not eligible to run for political office."

“Democrats’ insane justification to remove Trump can just as easily be applied to Joe Biden for his ‘insurrection’ at the southern border and his alleged corrupt family business dealings with China," they added.

Florida Rep. Cory Mills (R) denounced ‘Bidenomics’ this week, arguing that it has not made the economy better. With President Donald Trump (R) now polling higher than President Joe Biden (D), Rep. Mills notes that it’s because “we know the economy is not better.”

During an interview with Fox News, Rep. Mills discussed how Americans are feeling the economic repercussions of the Biden administration. His comments come after President Biden called on news sources to fix their reporting on the economy. Considering that Americans are making purchases for the holiday season, things like food have significantly increased, which Rep. Mills explains “have surged by 18% over two years.”

“We know that the price of gas is still extremely high when you think about what it was under the previous administration,” Rep. Mills said, commenting that this has led to the Biden administration sinking in the polls “with 39% approval rating in his overall job.”

In turn, Rep. Mills notes that Americans “know when they stick their hand in their pocket under the Biden administration, or Bidenomics, you have far less than what you had under the Trump administration.”

Sharing the interview segment on social media, Rep. Mills further argued that the Biden administration is trying to sell a “lie that the economy is good and reporting is bad.” However, “bad reporting isn’t the reason over a third of Americans considered skipping gifts altogether – it’s the reality of Bidenflation this holiday season” Rep. Mills argued.

Over the weekend, President Biden took part in an interview with reporters wherein he slammed reporters on the way they’re discussing the economy.

“Start reporting it the right way,” President Biden said when he was about his 2024 economy outlook.

According to a Monmouth University poll that was released last week, President Biden’s approval rating was 34%, and 70% of the respondents disapproved of his handling of inflation.

The rumor mill is working overtime this holiday season as reports indicate that President Donald Trump (R)has a possible Vice-Presidential candidate in mind. Despite both engaging in a tense rivalry, it’s speculated that President Trump is considering Ambassador Nicki Haley (R) as his vice-president. The Republican primary is not over yet, and the choice has been a surprise for supporters of President Trump.

According to Politico and CBS News, insiders have notified them that President Trump is considering offering the Vice-Presidential position to Ambassador Haley.

President Trump has often referred to Ambassador Haley as “bird brain” on the campaign trailer, and the former Ambassador to the United Nations under President Trump has been critical of the former president.

This began when Ambassador Haley announced her candidacy earlier this year, arguing that presidential candidates should take a competency test. It was seen as an affront to both President Trump and President Joe Biden (D) given their ages.

Insiders have allegedly come forward to say that President Trump has asked his allies what they think of Ambassador Haley being his vice-president. However, the suggestion has been widely panned.

What further adds fuel to the fire is that Donald Trump Jr. was recently interviewed on Newsmax, and he commented that he would “go to great lengths to make sure” that a Trump-Haley ticket does not happen. Similarly, Tucker Carlson has expressed that he would “advocate against” a Trump-Haley ticket “as strongly as I could.”

Last week, while speaking at a conservative conference, Steven Bannon, President Trump’s former strategist, called Ambassador Haley “Lucifer,” adding that the Republican establishment would pressure President Trump to pick her.

Ambassador Haley has quickly risen up the ranks in the Republican primary, claiming second place in the race. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) was once viewed as an alternative to President Trump, but political pundits argue his campaign has not performed as effectively as it should have.

President Trump leads both in the primary polls by a wide margin.

Because Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis decided to run against former President Donald Trump in the 2024 Republican presidential primary race, no love is lost between the two men, as the amount of disdain that is spewing out from both camps against each other is almost Biblical.

President Trump has been targeting Gov. DeSantis since before he announced his presidential run for office earlier this year.

Sources close to the Trump campaign say that the former president loathes DeSantis and his lack of “loyalty.”

The attacks against DeSantis have ramped up over the past several months as Trump’s surge in all the public opinion polls has elevated his primary election status to almost unbeatable status.

It hasn’t always been this way between Trump and DeSantis.

We all can remember when both men would trip over each other in praise before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The lovefest between Trump and DeSantis was almost nauseating, at least to Progressive Democrats who were very bitter that Trump defeated Hillary Clinton, and DeSantis beat uber-Progressive Andrew Gillum.

Donald Trump on Ron DeSantis

Many of you will not remember Trump’s grandiose tweet of support for DeSantis during his first congressional race in 2012.

I do because I was probably the only reporter to write about it for our Shark-Tank website.

In 2012, Trump was simply a billionaire land developer with TV personality status.

His endorsement didn’t really go far then, but speaks volumes now after he catapulted himself to be the undisputed leader of the national Republican Party and kingmaker to Republican candidates for elected office.

Trump tweeted our story here, listing DeSantis’s accolades and calling him “very impressive.”

Ron DeSantis, Iraq vet, Navy hero, bronze star, Yale, Harvard Law, running for Congress in Fla. Very impressive

At the time, Trump told me he was not ruling out a run for office as an Independent candidate, but said he would probably stay in the Republican Party.

He did just that and thee rest is history.

Iowa’s Caucus is on January 15, and New Hampshire’s primary election is January 23.
