As congressional investigations continue, the House Oversight Committee will question Devon Archer, a former business associate of Hunter Biden. Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) appeared on Fox News to discuss what to expect from the closed-door hearing and further steps.

"We are just trying to get to the bottom of this and find out the truth for the American people," said Rep. Luna, adding that Congressional Democrats continue denying evidence "whether it is through the IRS whistleblowers, through the FBI documents, even having the FBI redact those documents, or whether it is through testimony like this, you realize that this President is indeed compromised, and it further leads me to believe that there will be an impeachment inquiry before the next election."

However, when the host brought attention to former Attorney General Bill Barr having "passed, apparently, on this type of information and found nothing" investigating Joe and Hunter Biden during the Trump Administration, Rep. Luna replied that the "DOJ, the FBI, and the IRS do not pass the smell test."

Additionally, Luna echoed what fellow Florida Republican Representative Greg Steube said about this investigation, "If this were you or I or anyone watching the show currently, that has done even a fraction of what Hunter Biden did or even a fraction of what Joe Biden did, I would be in jail, and most of us would be."

Moreover, the apparent stonewalling of Republicans' investigations by these agencies only provides "cause for us to think that not only are we on the right trail here," but as Luna rhetorically inquired, "If they really had nothing to hide, then why go through all the trouble to really stonewall us every step of the way?"

Finally, Luna concluded that the investigation beyond partisan politics is to ensure the House Oversight and Accountability Committee is doing its proper job and "bringing some shred of credibility back to the DOJ, the FBI, and the IRS."

"Look, I am a Republican, and I understand my Democrats colleagues might have a differing opinion here, but the whole point of House Oversight and Accountability is to ensure that we are looking into this and also that we are bringing some shred of credibility back to the DOJ, the FBI, and the IRS. And right now, I am just telling you, based on what I am seeing with evidence, partisan politics aside, we are compromised, and that is not okay," Luna concluded.
