In an interview on Kimberly Guilfoyle's podcast, Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) declared the Republican primary "over" and called for the Party to unify around former President Donald Trump to defeat Joe Biden, a sentiment shared by Eric Trump in a recent tweet.

Rep. Luna was one of multiple Florida Republicans who accompanied Trump to Iowa, and she described how the enthusiasm for him dwarfed that of the other candidates.

Rep. Luna described herself as one of the "first" to openly endorse Trump, adding her above remark that the Republican primaries are "over," citing Trump's poll numbers that continue to climb after every indictment, including in Florida.

"I will say it now and I will say it again, this primary is over and it has been over for a while. The polling is not lying, I mean President Trump, if you are just looking at the stats, is what, 50 points ahead in some states. He is projected to absolutely crush it in the State of Florida, so I am right there with him," said Rep. Luna.

Additionally, she criticized the other Republicans criticizing Trump "even though we know these indictments are BS," saying their attacks reveal far more about them than they do about Trump. Moreover, the primary focus should be on defeating the Democratic Party and its "massive corruption."

"Just look at what the other candidates are saying. The fact that you have candidates attacking President Trump even though we know that these indictments are total BS tells us all you need to know about their platform, their position, and who they are as elected officials. And so I would say that right now, our main target and focus is looking at the Democrats and who they are going to put up. And frankly, what I am seeing is massive corruption out of the DNC," Luna continued.

For example, Luna cited the recent discovery of President Biden using pseudonyms to communicate with his son Hunter's foreign business associates while Vice President, which was the subject of attack by Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL).

"So the fact is, is that we have to just cut out the nonsense and move forward and focus on what we can do to get the President elected in 2024," Luna concluded.
